Owner, Anna Robitaille, is a native of the Mission Hills/Bankers Hills neighborhood. She has played the piano since 1986, and has been teaching privately since 1997. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Music from SDSU, and was the accompanist for the school choirs at Morse High School. Anna was also a music teacher at Bonita Country Day School , Carmel Valley Montessori School, and St. Vincent's Preschool. Anna is an active member of the Music Teachers' Association of California, and was the chair for the Popular Music Festival at Grossmont College for 3 years. She opened Mission Hills Music in 2009.
Johanna Baker has been teaching private piano and voice lessons for nearly 20 years. She enjoys classical music and musical theater. Johanna earned her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin and Master's Degree in Psychology from SDSU. She has done research on the effect of music lessons on the brain and cognitive development.
Angel Salas received his Bachelor's Degree in Classical Guitar at SDSU, and taught private and group classes at the Santee Music Academy, Sally Piano, and Music Central since 2016. He currently teaches guitar, bass, piano, violin, at Mission Hills Music and is fluent in Spanish.
David Rich teaches guitar, bass, and ukulele and has experience with composing and music therapy. He received his Associate's Degree from SD Mesa College and studied music theory, ear training, and jazz studies. David teaches all genres and levels of music.
Jason Getzel is a Mission Hills native guitarist who attended the San Diego Creative and Performing Arts and later received his Bachelor's Degree in Film Scoring and Performance from the Berklee College of Music. He has performed with many bands and has been a music supervisor on film and TV projects. Jason was the Ensemble Director at the Recreational Music Center for 7 years, and has been teaching for over a decade. He currently teaches all styles and levels of guitar, ukulele, bass, band class, songwriting, and beginning piano.
Tatiana Esquerra received her Bachelor's Degree in Music at the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California. She currently teaches violin and beginning cello at Casa de Cultura de Tijuana and Mission Hills Music. She also taught theory classes and gave private lessons at the Escuela Superior de Musica, and has experience as a Technical Instrument Instructor for Las Casa de la Cutura Pipila. Tatiana has also been a member of the Adagio Musical Group since 2018.

Michael Lawrence received his Bachelor's Degree in music from John Hopkins University. He studied organ, trumpet, conducting, and music education. Michael was the Director of Music at the Trinity Lutheran Church in South Philadelphia. and is currently the organist for the First United Methodist Church in La Mesa. He was also a piano teacher at the Santee Music Academy, and currently teaches all levels of piano and voice at Mission Hills Music.
